Reviews and Ratings

From the Okanagan Valley, British Columbia wine region, Volcanic Hills Magma 2020 is a vegan-friendly red wine blend of 60% Zweigelt, 20% Merlot and 20% Marechal Foch grapes sourced from Volcanic Hills's own estate vineyards in West Kelowna and select growers in Osoyoos. Each varietal is fermented and barrel-aged separately in a mix of French and American oak barrels for up to 16 months. Look for ripe dark plum, black cherry, mocha, sweet baking spice and minty notes on this dry, medium-bodied red blend produced by winemaker, Daniel Bontorin. - Community Wine Reviews

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
