Reviews and Ratings
Terry Jeans - Certified S rated this wine as 94/100 with the following review: This is an amazing Riesling for the price, that everyone should discover. Lots of interesting, typical notes of cold climate Rieslings with a touch of sweetness and high acidity. This would go very well with spicy Thai food or it is incredibly easy to drink on it's own. Do not miss this one!
Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review: A beautiful nose with ripe honeyed peach, subtle minerality and white floral notes. The palate shows beautiful ripe white stone fruit melodiously woven with slight minerality, Smooth satiny mouthfeel and a long silky-smooth ripe peach finish.
Sean O'Regan - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review: Pale yellow, classic Riesling nose with citurs lemon/lime, honey, mild petrol note and chalky mineral. Just off dry, with honeysuckle, pear, citrus and lovely texture which make it hard to put the glass down. Ontario is making some outstanding Rieslings and this one is a perfect example. Pan fried pickerel or sushi/maki rolls. 91+ Tasted April 2015

Lori Kilmartin WSET3 - WSET3 Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review: Having been to @VinelandEstates and tasted many of their wines I am already a fan! This Riesling from the vineyard surrounding the wine buildings never disappoints. Hints of sweetness, peach and lots of minerality on the nose. Nice acidity but still a smooth mouthfeel, this is a great sipper on its own or have with a grilled cheese and apple sandwich!
Lynn van der Linde - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review: Spring garden in a glass! Wonderful floral aromas on the nose, followed by flavours of pear and sweet apple. A perfect pairing for arugula and goat cheese salad, or on the back deck with friends! Thank you @VinelandEstates for bringing on spring!

The St. Urban Vineyard was planted in 1979 and is now one of the oldest Riesling sites in Canada. The vines are planted on the advantageous elevation of the Niagara Escarpment. Brian Schmidt is winemaker. The 2012 vintage of the Elevation Riesling has great cellar aging potential. - Community Wine Reviews
