Reviews and Ratings

Lori Kilmartin WSET3 - WSET3 Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Winemaker Brian Schmidt likes to travel to Europe so its no surprise this dry Riesling is made in typical German Riesling style. Made from 35 year old vines in limestone soil there is a lot of mineral on the nose and predominant citrus notes on the palate. The vinification method includes micro-oxygenation which gives a lovely effervescence mouth feel. This is a light, crisp wine that would pair well with grilled fish and a lemon caper sauce!
Gwen Barton rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Pretty straw coloured wine. Green apple, lemon and mineral aromas. Lots of same in the mouth. Very lively acidity with some effervescence noted (due to micro-oxygenation). Excellent value wine. Would love to try with Indian food...butter chicken perhaps.
Craig Kuziemsky rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Floral and honey notes on the nose with lemon, honey and some peach on the palate. Nice acidity and balance.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
