A lovely cool-climate wine made from a single vineyard and one grape clone, Cabernet Franc 327 from the Bo•Teek Vineyard, planted in 1996 on the Twenty Mile Bench. Aromas of black cherry and smoke. Pair with grilled meats.

Reviews and Ratings

Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Big and tannic, this single varietal and single clone, single vineyard Cabernet Franc is drinking well. Chewy tannins, raspberry, currant, baking spices and slightly toasted oak. This tannin and fruit profile will allow the wine to age for another decade. Pairs well with bison charcuterie, black currant jam or with BBQ steak frite and blue cheese. Tasted 2016 vintage in May 2019, decanted. 90 points
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

These single vineyard Cabernet Franc wines from Vineland pack quite a punch! This one, from vines planted in 1996, shows aromas of blackberry, black cherry, leather, smoke and black pepper, along with a slightly mineral or wet stone and damp earth. A bit more savoury than the Bo-Teek clone 214 which is more fruit forward. Full bodied, firm tannins, bright acidity. Lots of ripe fruit and warm spice on a lengthy finish. Enjoy with prime rib.
