Reviews and Ratings

Lynn van der Linde - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Luxurious Chilean Pinot Noir.
Aromatic raspberries, blackberries and cedar swirl in the glass, transforming to a black cherry finish. Present acidity makes for a perfect pairing with pizza or roast chicken.
Tasted April 2018.
Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Outstanding value for this mouthwatering, Chilean Pinot Noir from Cono Sur Winery. Red berries on the nose. Strawberry, cherry and raspberry with an aromatic smoky earth bouquet and a touch of cocoa. Flavours reflect much of the same, with the addition of light pepper, and continued spiced raspberry notes carrying onward. Bright and lively acidity balances nicely with the flavourful medium finish and silky tannins. Pair with a charcuterie plate and herbed pork tenderloin. Cheers!
Cono Sur Reserva Especial (2015) is a well-priced Pinot Noir from Chile's San Antonio Valley. Bright ruby in the glass with lively acidity this Pinot Noir has flavours of red fruits, sour cherries, raspberries and blackberries. Very versatile PN that can pair with roast, as well as aged cheeses. - Community Wine Reviews
