Reviews and Ratings

Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

New world styling with ripe fruit and firmer oak influence. Ripe cherry, berry, and red fruit aromas. Fruity plush with good acidity. Caramel and oak spice with the fruits on the finish with a tinge of sweetness. Versatile wine, good red to go solo or to match a meal. Good friend to pizza, pasta, and burgers.
Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

This is an unassuming, clean and approachable Sangiovese. No rough edges here. Nicely balanced and highly quaffable. Would go great with classic spaghetti or pizza. Tasted June 2019. www.thewineloverskitchen.com
From the Tuscany wine region, Villa poggio Salvi Tosco 2016 is a well-priced, medium-plus-bodied Sangiovese. Dry and delicious with black cherry, plum, earthy florals, dusty herb flavours on the palate. Tannins are soft and there is great acidity on this juicy red wine made for a meaty lasagne. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
