An extremely versatile New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc when it comes to food pairing: from shellfish to salads to vegetarian dishes, and many others. This crisp, refreshing and approachable white wine offers notes of citrus and some herbaceous highlights on the palate, which is typical of cool-climate Sauvignon Blanc. Balanced acidity with a finish that makes you ask for a top-up in your glass.

I love it when I can find a quality Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand for a fair price. Villa Maria is a great value at $16.95 and reveals all the aromatics and freshness you would expect from this region. Here is a youtube video of my review: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JcI-7pOAeqM

My kind of Sauv Blanc with bright pink grapefruit and gooseberry fragrances. Echoed on palate, herbal, mouth-watering and crisp acidity. Marlborough does it best!

A nice Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough, NZ. Exotic fruit, with floral and herbaceous notes. Refreshing acidity with a long exotic fruit and grassy finish. Pair with green salads with creamy goat cheese and citrus based dressings. Tasted October 2014. 88 points. Matt Steeves @QuercusVino

Citrus and peach with some minerailty and grassiness. Great for pairing with salads, new cheeses, and white fish.

Bursting with ripe gooseberry and citrus lime, melon and exotic herbal aromas. It is a fresh and ripely flavoured wine with fantastic intensity, finishing with crisp and racy acidity.

Débordant d’arômes de groseilles mures, de lime, de melon et d’herbes exotiques. C’est un vin frais et aux saveurs mures avec une intensité fantastique finissant avec une acidité vive et mordante.
