Villa Cafaggio Cortaccio is a 100% Cabernet Sauvignon red wine from the Tuscany wine region and is aging nicely just showing some signs of maturity and it quite elegant. Look for dried cherries, leathery notes, meat and spice on the palate. Villa Caffagio dates back to 1498. Pair with a meaty lasagne or meaty game dishes.

Food pairings: roasted vegetable casserole with piquant cheese, hard cheeses, pasta and rich tomato meat sauce.

Villa Cafaggio Cortaccio 2007 is a 100% Cabernet Sauvignon red wine from the Tuscany wine region. This is a mature wine with leather, earth, wild game and cedar brush flavours on the palate. Ripe dark fruit flavours are more in the background. Tannins are rounded. Pair with a slow-cooked pot roast with root vegetables. - Community Wine Reviews
