Reviews and Ratings

Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

It's no secret amongst my wine friends that I love Amarone. The dark richness of sundried grapes makes my mouth water. This Amarone delivers it all. Deep and smooth. Plush dark fruit, prunes, raisin, oak, leather and dupicated on the palate. This wine needs food. Roasted meats, grilled burgers, pasta with bison meat sauce. Salty cheeses would also stand up to this wine. Stilton perhaps? Let me know. Decanting only made it better!
International Trophy Winner for Best Red Varietal Over £10 at the 2012 Decanter World Wine Awards. Charcoal nose over a spicy, savoury palate with good depth of black fruit. Hints of sour cherry, liqueur red fruit and dark tobacco touched with chocolate on a fruity, polished style with good freshness. Score: 5 (out of 5). Source: Decanter World Wine Awards, 2012

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
