A stunningly beautiful BC rose that's as elegant as those from Provence, France, but more flavourful and interesting. Aromas of wild strawberries and spice. Medium-bodied with racy acidity for seafood, shellfish and conversation.

Reviews and Ratings

Deborah Podurgiel WSET IV Candidate - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

Wow factor 8! This is an incredible Vancouver Island rosé from the Cowichan Valley in British Columbia. Don’t miss out on this dry (3.2 g/l residual sugar), medium-bodied, Provence-style 100% Pinot Noir rosé with vibrant red berry, wild strawberries, dried herb flavours, creamy and elegant on the palate with a zingy, clean mineral finish. The Pinot Noir wine grapes for this rosé were brought up on clay soils over a well-drained gravel base. Only six hours contact with the PN skins, this rosé is a light coral-pink in the glass. The wine was stainless-steel tank fermented with extended lees ageing and full malolactic conversion. Beautifully balanced and very moreish, it is wonderful chilled on its own but shines with food. We paired it with a grilled asparagus, sweet onion and smoked salmon galette, as well as an herbed goat cheese, arugula flatbread dotted with sliced black olives.
