Reviews and Ratings

Astrid Young - Sommelier ISG CAPS rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Sweet dried cherries up front, with plenty of mineral and spicy notes; lovely butterscotch toffee nuances show the length and quality of their NFO (new French Oak) aging, with spicy minerality and juicy red fruit that lingers through the lengthy finish, peppered with sweet cigar leaf and a hint of mocha, really lovely, big and bold. enjoy with grilled swordfish, truffle risotto, a nice Bolognese. Easy to love.
Terry Jeans - Certified S rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A traditional Italian grape variety from a producer, Umberto Cesari, that set out to specialize in Sangiovese in the 60's. Medium purple coloured with luscious ripe cherries, with mocha and some earthiness. Deeply complex with nice acidity and stiff tannins. Pair this with pasta dishes with red sauce.
Kristin Perrin rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Earthy, leathery cherry, while violet lingers on the nose
Dry, gripping acidity and tannins, medium bodied palate

Cured meats and aged cheeses

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
