Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Blended from 52% Cabernet Sauvignon and 48% Merlot, this is a slightly sweet wine with aromas of red berries, vanilla and a hint of spice. Medium bodied, with lots of jammy fruit, and a hint of vanilla and warm spice on the palate as well. This wine is Kosher and appropiate for any family gatherings.
Craig Haynes - WSET3 FWS SWS IWS rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

The Ruby’s aromas of candied red cherries and sweet dark fruit notes introduced a medium bodied palate of sweet, concentrated dark fruit flavours with hints of spice and supple tannins. A kosher wine, the 2017 Ruby is a cabernet sauvignon merlot blend from Ontario vineyards. Enjoy.

Tzafona Cellars Nava Ruby 2017 is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot and is a Kosher for Passover and Mevushal wine. Look for red berry fruit, vanilla and blackberry jam flavours on the palate. The wine was so named for the winemaker's niece, Nava. - Community Wine Reviews
