Lemon freshness in a glass with a lovely rich lanolin texture. The perfect wine that is stylistically between sauvignon blanc and chardonnay. The grapes for this wine come from a single vineyard, the Pokolbin Hills Estate vineyard. They use a cool fermentation and minimum time on the lees to create a very fresh style of wine. There is oak fermentation or aging to stay true to that signature. Lots of lemon and lime on the finish. Drink with fresh seafood or shellfish.

Semillon food pairings: seafood, salads, Asian Dishes, biscotti, pasta with cheese-based sauce.

Bright, fine, juicy nectarine fruit nose here, this has some lovely citrus too, really even and nicely ripened. The palate’s juicy and even, and really lovely acidity works away below gentle, elegant fruit flavour. Lemony acid finish; balanced and ready. Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
