Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Lovely and zesty! Aromas of peach, lemon-lime and passionfruit. Light on the palate with bright acidity and lots of citrus and tropical hints. Enjoy with fresh shellfish or any seafood.
Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

The nose here is quite a chameleon with hints of grass, chamomile, peach. The palate offers up hints of wet stone and citrus as well. Pair with pizza bianca. Tasted Dec 2019. www.thewineloverskitchen.com
Linda Mertes WSET 2 rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

Well the label to this Chenin Blanc will certainly jump out at you! And this is where the conversation begins as it is the most widely planted white wine grape in South Africa. Medium-bodied with aromas of apple, gooseberry and citrus, there is a strong presence of mineral and lemon on the palate. leading to a very dry finish, this wine will go well with fish, poultry and food pairings that go well with dry Sauvignon Blanc.
Wine labels from this producer feature an animal associated with the country in which the wine has been made, in this case a rhinoceros for Tussock Jumper's South African Chenin Blanc. Look for zesty citrus, mineral and ripe, honeyed apple flavours on this fruit-driven Chenin. Great value under $15.pair with fish and chips. - Community Wine Reviews
