Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

I have tried a few vintages of this wine, and it's a winner every year. Aromas of strawberry, lime, and orange blossom. Medium bodied, soft and smooth, with just enough acidity for balance which compliments lovely berry and citrus notes. A perfect patio sipper on a sunny afternoon!
L.J. Palmer WSET 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A lovely pink colour, light bodied rosé, dry, with food pleasing acidity. Aromas of strawberries, cherries and blossom. Paired well with goat cheeses, including goat brie and Beemster goat and also shrimp with cocktail sauce. Good any time but will be the star of the patio this summer.
Pamela Chiles rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Pretty pale salmon colour, nose of strawberry, pink grapefruit, red cherry repeats on the palate. Great acidity and nicely balanced with a medium length finish. Very refreshing! Enjoy with grilled chicken, salads, veggie burgers etc.
Tasted March 2022
Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Pale salmon coloured with strawberry, melon and orange blossom aromas. Flavours carry through with nectarine, delicate minerality and sweet, crisp clementine citrus acidity on the dry, well integrated finish. Will complement a variety of foods but it can also easily being enjoyed on its own. Try a selection of cheeses and finger foods, sandwiches or grilled chicken burgers. Light and refreshing, enjoy!
Christian Marcoux rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A refreshing rosé from Trius Winery, located in the Niagara wine region, offers aromas of cherry, watermelon, marmalade, rhubarb and citrus blossom. Perfect for patio time, this light-bodied wine exposes clean acidity and a short finish, perfect for food paring or for sipping. Palate: sour cherry, cranberry, pink grapefruit, citrus and rose. Enjoy.
Lynn van der Linde - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Fruity yet crisp. Glistening pink in the glass. Cranberry, red grapefruit and a slight pine nut aroma carry through to a cranberry and citrus flavour.
Wonderful with arugula and goat cheese salads.
Tasted June 2021.
Trent Mayers rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

From one of Ontario’s legacy wineries (you may remember its past incarnation as Hillebrand), a nicely dry Rosé. It’s crisp, clean flavours of strawberry, citrus, herb, and melon exemplify the modern Rosé style adopted from Europe winemaking. If you are looking for a wine as an aperitif or to serve with your summer salads, this will do the job admirably.
