Natalie's Score: 91/100

Extremely juicy and mouth-watering, this Alsatian Riesling has a bold lemon edge that demands seafood or salad. There's also incredible mineral depth and flinty, wet stone after spring rain in its soul. Not a trace of oak. Very refreshing and zippy and extremely food-friendly. Terrific refreshment.

Riesling food pairings: lemon-herbed chicken, nuts, soft cheese, curries, spicy food.

Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Refreshing nose of peach, apricot and minerality. The palate shows ripe apricot, peach, honey, minerality and slight lemon. Very harmonious long honeyed apricot finish with a hint of marzipan.
Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Such a consistent producer of Alsatian Riesling. Fantastic mouthwatering acidity and even a trace of tannins. Aromas and flavours of citrus, green apple, apricot, white peach, floral, honeycomb, flint and rubber. The finish is long with honeyed fruit. Perfect cheese platter with fatty cured meats, spicy Italian sausage on a bun, fish and chips.
Serve well chilled.
Tasted: April 2015
This small-batch Alsatian Riesling is definitely a step up from this winery's entry level offering, and is produced in quantities of about 4,000 cases a year. Zesty and refreshing. Great taste for the money. Pair with halibut. - Community Wine Reviews
