Reviews and Ratings

Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Elegant light floral Riesling with just a hint of petrol and wet stones. This light(+) body Riesling is buoyed with oxidized apple, citrus, honey, blossoms and a pithy back palate. Overall a very pleasant sipper with a lingering fresh lemon finish. Perfect salad wine.
Tasted: August 2016
Trail Estate winery is nestled where the Benway Road meets the Millennium Trail in Hillier Ontario of Prince Edward County. Small batch artisanal wines are made there. Only 235 cases of the Riesling was made. The fruit is from Ed Hughes' vineyard, fermented in stainless with some lees ageing. - Community Wine Reviews
