Reviews and Ratings

Deborah Podurgiel WSET IV Candidate - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Buy this one by the case! From Township 7 Vineyards & Winery, their Provenance Series 2019 Chardonnay is elegant and beautifully balanced, creamy and sensuous on the palate, lithe with ripe golden apple, stone fruit, notes of tropical fruit, Meyer lemon that linger on with a fresh mineral kiss.

Most of the Chardonnay grapes for this vintage were sourced from Vista Lago Vineyard in Oliver with a small portion from Hidden Terrace and Becker Vineyards. Half of the wine was fermented in French barriques, with the other half in stainless steel tank. The wine underwent malo in barrel giving it that creamy, silky texture while keeping it fresh and bright with natural acidity from the stainless-steel ferment. Chill and enjoy on its own or pour with almond-crusted, pan-fried walleye (also know as pickerel). Tasted December 2021.
Melanie Lloyd - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This Okanagan Chardonnay offers delicate floral notes on the nose along with pear, pie crust, saline, lemon and almond shell.

Medium bodied and dry on the palate with mouthwatering tartness, and notes of lemon, starfruit, Granny Smith apple, a touch of saline, and a pleasant clean finish.

Tuna steak or roasted chicken would pair nicely. I had mine with mac cheese, the traditional comfort-food type, and it paired well.

Tasted April 2022

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
