A stunning BC Cabernet Franc made from grapes grown in the winery's Romar Vineyard. Wow. Just wow. Aromas of fleshy ripe black plums and berries. Savoury, juicy, nervy edge. Full-bodied and supple. Decant 1 hour and pair with more of this wine or grilled meats.

Cabernet Franc food pairings: grilled bison and roasted vegetables.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Beautiful!! Lovely, ripe, balanced and flavourful. Aromas of blackberry, blueberry, leather, cedar smoke, and warm clove spice. Full bodied with smooth tannins, and lots of ripe, luscious berry fruit on the palate. Finish is lengthy and has a slight tartness on a smoky and warm, spicy hint. So delicious. Enjoy with braised beef ribs.
A single vineyard wine from Osoyoos, our premium 2016 Reserve Cabernet Franc expresses vivid aromas of anise and clove along with a subtle earthiness, tempered with tobacco and eucalyptus. An elegant but full palate follows, highlighted by juicy flavours of black currant and blackberry. The southerly location of the Romar Vineyard just a few blocks from the Canada/US border ensures ripeness and great tannin development, while maintaining a delicate balance. Extended barrel aging developed complexity and finesse. Just 198 cases produced.
