Torbreck 2018 is produced from ungrafted Old Vines Grenache, Mourvèdre and Shiraz grapes from vines that are between 130 and 160 years old. Grapes are hand-harvested and gently basket-pressed for the free-run juice, then fermented and aged in neutral French oak barrels. Very much in the style of the Southern Rhone-style reds showing rich, ripe cherry, dark plum, sweet cake spice and earthy, smoky notes lush on the palate. Perfect for barbecued fare. Drink or hold.

Grenache Shiraz Mourvèdre food pairings: pepper steak, grilled lamb sausages, meat pizza.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
