Reviews and Ratings

Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Rich and succulent, this Sonoma County blend of 52% Petit Verdot, 28% Malbec, 14% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Tempranillo, and 3% Carignane, is bursting with brambleberry, cherry pie, clove, sweet tobacco, and graphite. Fresh and lively, it's elegant with a dense core of dark fruit, plums, and sweet clove persisting on the finish. Enjoy with charcoal grilled pork and enjoy 2019-2024. Tasted February 2019. 90+ points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Blended from 52% Petit Verdot, 28% Malbec, 14% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Tempranillo, and 3% Carignane. Aromas of blueberry, blackberry, leather and smoke. Luscious on the palate, with smooth tannin and a nice blend of fruit and smoke on the finish. Pair with BBQ ribs.
From the Alexander Valley, Sonoma County, California, Tom Gore's Field Blend 2014 is fresh blueberry and vanilla on the nose with more ripe blueberry, dark plum and vanilla flavours on the palate. Very moreish. Enjoy now on its own or with a grilled veal Porterhouse chop. - Community Wine Reviews
