Reviews and Ratings

Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This is an seductive blend of Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Black cherry and dark fruits on the nose with ample fruit on the palate and fine, dusty tannins. If you like Bordeaux style wines but lean toward a fruitier showing this wine is for you! Full-bodied, fruity, firm but smooth. This would complement a wide range of dishes from tourtiere to ox-tail stew, firm cheeses or charcuterie. Tasted February 2020. www.thewineloverskitchen.com
Linda Mertes WSET 2 rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

A full-bodied Tuscan blend of Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, there are black berry and spicy aromas to a cherry and mineral palate. It is well-balanced with medium to high tannins and a long finish. Serve with Italian tomato based dishes or rare roast beef.
From the Tuscany wine region, Tolaini Al Passo 2015 is a rich and full-bodied red blend of Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Look for juicy, ripe black cherry, blackberry, spiced plum flavours on the palate with a lingering flinty finish. Enjoy now and for the next three years. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
