Reviews and Ratings

Deborah Podurgiel WSET IV Candidate - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Dangerously Drinkable Alert. Time Family of Wines, Evolve Cellars Effervescence is an dry, ethereal bubble, a medium-bodied blend of 70% Chardonnay and 30% Pinot Blanc. Lightly fragrant with white florals, fresh melon, white-fleshed peach and lemon tart flavours with a lingering fresh melon and citrus zest finish. Grapes for this pretty B.C. bubble were hand sorted, whole bunch pressed and fermented separately with some lees stirring on the Pinot Blanc making for a very elegant, creamy, well-balanced sparkler. Chill and enjoy on its own or with creamy cheeses and sushi. Tasted February 2022.

The Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc grapes were sourced from the King Family, (Penticton), Mirror Lake (Osoyoos) and Devonshire Vineyards (Naramata). Produced by winemaker, Lynzee Schatz.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
