A pleasant, full-bodied red with notes of blackberries and blackcurrant. Not a wimpy wine, this will please those like a good bang for their buck. This wine is a blend of 60% Garnacha, 30% Carinena, [Carignan] and 10% Syrah and was matured for 6 months in French and American oak.

Dan Trcka Wine Blogger rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

The 2006 vintage just flew off the shelves, glad I managed to get a couple of bottles. This 2007 vintage is medium bodied, fruity to INTEGRATED, with nice aromas of raspberry, red currant and cedar. Tannins are refined to tannic (decant for around 1 hour) and the finish is medium to long. It can easily be cellared for 5 to 10 years, but not sure it will improve with age. If I was to add up the points using my system, it would receive 88.5 pts. I do however must give it another point and the reason is that it is not often that I really notice how the tannins and acidity are in a perfect harmony. My impression: NICE, 89.5 pts - a recommended buy. Tasted in Sept/10 during Spanish wine tasting - quite popular in the line up.
