A lovely, supple, smooth, medium-bodied BC Pinot Noir. Aromas of dark cherry, rose petal, and smoke. The grapes were de-stemmed, but not crushed. The winemaker used a wild ferment. The wine was matured in French oak barrels, of which 30% was new, for 10 months. Pair with veal or roast chicken.

Reviews and Ratings

Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

An abundance of red fruit enveloped by delicate, youthful leaves, strawberries, cherries, violets, and cherry cola elements. Flavours are full with plummy licorice, leather, sweet smoke and earthy floral notes. Acidity is restrained which is nice. Very juicy and fresh with lingering cedar wood on the medium plus finish. Ready to drink today! Pair with soft washed rind cheeses and pork souvlaki. 90 points - tasted July 2018

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
