Love this robust Australian red wine! Gorgeously rich and full-bodied with layers of voluptuous black fruit flavours and mint. Velvet caress on the tongue. Top me up! Try it tonight with a juicy, rare steak. Pair this robust red wine with a New York strip loin steak.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: grilled sirloin steak with garlic mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables, vine leaves stuffed with minced sirloin and baked in tomato sauce.

Reviews and Ratings

From South Australia's Barossa Valley, Thorn Clarke's Shotfire Quartage (2014) is exactly that a shotfire across your palate. That's not to say the is a unpalatable, in fact, this wine is robust, full of ripe black fruit, tannins and announces its arrival. It's a very big wine that needs meat --the rarer the better. - Community Wine Reviews
