Reviews and Ratings

Un classique!
Donna Hargrove rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This full bodied Cab is true to it's grape, with blackberry aromas and flavour, it finishes smoothly with slight hints of chocolate. The possibility of this wine lasting any longer than a week in my house is slim. I'd pair it with a plate of old cheeses or grilled meat.

Douglas McMillan rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Meaty blackberry and vanilla, some earthiness and black pepper predominate the aromas. The taste is black raspberry and dark chocolate with some round tannins and medium-high acidity. The fruit has a distinct sweet edge to it despite its acidity and dryness, making it a good candidate for something like BBQ'd ribs.
Notes of blackcurrant, vanilla and milk chocolate serve as a monumental opening act. The palate keeps the crowd engaged with its backdrop of vanilla and mocha supporting a lifted cherry fruit. Fire up the grill and put your guests front-row centre for this main attraction. Source: Vintages Wine Ratings and Reviews, May 2013
