A lovely, zesty Australian Sauvignon Blanc from the cool climate of the Adelaide Hills. The Block 10 vineyard has ancient limestone soils that adds to the vibrancy of this wine. Balanced acidity for seafood and shellfish.

Sauvignon Blanc food pairings: goat cheese salad, onion tarte, smoked whitefish on baguette.

Reviews and Ratings

Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Lovely expression of Sauvignon Blanc from the Adelaide Hills in South Australia. This wine really expresses the terroir of the limestone soils from which the grapes draw upon for nourishment. Persistent flavors of tropical fruit, lemon, and candied lime. The acidity is bright supported by a clean, refreshing palate. This would be delicious with lighter seafood dishes, I enjoyed it with deep fried smelts tossed with a touch of garlic and a squeeze of fresh lemon.
Melanie Lloyd - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This Sauvignon Blanc has juicy nectarine aromas, as well as lychee, white pepper, and hints of white flower. It has crisp lemon and stone fruit flavours. It is medium bodied with a nice lingering finish.

Tasted February 2018
The Lane Vineyard Block 10 2016 is a fresh, vibrant Sauvignon Blanc from the Adelaide Hills In South Australia made by winemaker, Michael Schreurs. Grapes for this wine were picked in tries an the wine rested on its lees for three months and has no oak treatment. On the nose, the wine is ripe gooseberry and lemon thyme. On the palate, look for lime and lemon zest, grassy notes and a crisp, clean mineral finish. - Community Wine Reviews
