Fantastic value on this full-bodied 81% Cabernet, 16% Malbec and a splash of Petit Verdot red wine blend. Silky with ripe blueberry and red berry flavours, earthy, licorice, cedar spice and espresso flavours finishing long. Tannins are grippy. Enjoy now and for the next five years. Pair with a rare rib roast.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: BBQ beef ribs, grilled lamb, sausage and chick pea casserole.

Reviews and Ratings

Wine grapes for The Hess Collection 2014 are sourced from a certified sustainable vineyard. A full-bodied mostly Cabernet Sauvignon from a well-known and loved winery in the Napa Valley with supporting Petite Sirah, Malbec and Petit Verdot wine grapes to round out the Cab. The warmer, elevated benchland benefits from an extended growing season for Cabernet Sauvignon. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
