Wonderfully rich and concentrated yet refreshing and crisp too: it's got it all! Lemon-lanolin and stone on the nose. Intense lemon and lime zest on the palate with mouth-watering juiciness for a wide range of dishes. Liquid lovely!

Riesling food pairings: sushi, paprika chicken, turkey dinner with a spicy stuffing.

Reviews and Ratings

Pat rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

The 2010 - Sweet, and raisiny - it paired really well with blue cheese and nuts.
This wine is made with 20% dried grapes in the Venetian appassimento method. Complex notes of candied citrus, lime peel, green apple, pear, peach nectar and minerality set the stage for a richly textured wine with a good interplay of fresh and candied fruits and a nice mineral backbone. Complex, layered finish. An attractive touch of petrol signals the early stages of this wine’s evolution. Source: Vintages Wine Panel, Jan.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
