From the Boekenhoutskloof winery, this is the magnum size of the full-bodied The Chocolate Block 2016, a savoury, delicious red wine blend of Syrah with Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cinsault and Viognier. This is the second vintage of The Chocolate Block, always easy to enjoy and a crowd-pleaser with its savoury olive tapenade, ripe black and blueberry flavours.

Food pairings: meaty chili, game meats, hard cheese.

From the Boekenhoutskloof winery in the Swartland wine region, this is the magnum size of the full-bodied The Chocolate Block 2016, a savoury, delicious red wine blend of Syrah with Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cinsault and Viognier. This is the second vintage of The Chocolate Block. Look for brambleberry, black olive and savoury herb flavours on this made-for-the-braai, flavoursome red. - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
