From the Mooiplaas Estate, The Coffee Bean is a coffee-espresso Pinotage. Delicious and smooth. Pinotage was originally created by crossing Pinot Noir and Cinsault grapes. Juicy red fruits combined with fine espresso and smoky, toasty oak flavours. Smooth with fine tannins. Pair with coffee-rubbed grilled beef ribs.

Pinotage food pairings: roast leg of lamb, grilled chicken, venison steak.

Reviews and Ratings

From Roos Family Vineyards, this Western Cape Wine Region Pinotage really does taste life coffee and wine combined. And it's a wonderful thing. Beautifully robust with ripe cherry, leather and sweet spice flavours on the palate, the espresso notes are derived from both the toasting and type of French oak barrels in which the wine is aged. Try it with smoked meats and cheeses. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
