Reviews and Ratings

Greg Hughes rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Very youthful and fresh. Is it big and full Chardonnay? It has some nice textire to it, but its strength comes from its vitality and linear nature.
Pale white / lemon.
Aromas take some time to coax out. Don't overchill this wine and you get a lot more out of it. Peach and lemon.
Seam of oak is carefully woven into it. Not super noticeable. Almost imperceptible, when chilled. Slight toast and lees. Peach and nectarine on the palate. Lemony zip on the finish.
Put this one with some lightly done scallops, shrimp skewers, or avocado salad.
Terres Secretes' La Roche Vineuse 2015 is a very clean and fresh Maconnais Chardonnay from Macon in the Burgundy wine region of France. On the palate, the wine is fresh stonefruit and citrus flavours with a zesty acidity. The 2014 and 21=015 vintage were strong vintages in Macon, but the wine could age a few more years to show its best. Pair with roast lemon-herb chicken. - Community Wine Reviews
