A lovely, juicy Californian blend of Chenin Blanc and Viognier grapes. Aromas of peach and apricot with orange zest. So fragrant. Perfect for Asian and spicy dishes.

Chenin Blanc Viognier food pairings: roast chicken, lobster roll, crab cakes.

Reviews and Ratings

Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

What an interesting and intriguing blend, Chenin Blanc and Viognier. Structurally, it makes sense. Chenin brings acidity, Viognier contributes body, and both are highly aromatic with different yet complementary profiles. This wine offers a broad bouquet including honey, apple, peach, white floral, melon, and citrus notes. There is just hint of sweetness (11g/l) expertly offset by the fresh acidity. The fruit profile continues into the finish. Versatile, enjoy alongside pork loin with apples and vegetables.
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Such a pretty wine. Floral on the nose, along with notes of apricot, melon, and honey. Medium bodied on the palate, with bright acidity, dry with just a hint of sweetness, and ripe citrus and floral notes, along with a strong mineral note on the back palate and carrying through on the finish. Enjoy with fresh citrus infused seafood dishes. or herb roasted chicken.
Terra D'oro is a Chenin Blanc and Viognier white wine blend from Clarksburg, California. Floral with soft orange citrus aromas on the nose, this is a dry white wine with a nice combination of sweet cake spice, lanolin, honeyed peach and fresh melon flavours on the palate. Enjoy now. - Community Wine Reviews
