I’m a sucker for tawny ports, with their warm toffee, caramel, almond notes. This one, barrel aged for 20 years has a silky, seductive texture and a long, comforting apricot and dried-fruit finish.

Reviews and Ratings

Dan Trcka Wine Blogger rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

The Taylor Fladgate 20 Year Old Tawny Port has intense aromas of prune, butter scotch and pecans. It is a full bodied, sweet, aged port; with good acidity, subtle tannins (no need for decanting) and a long, slightly warm finish. Drink as a desert; drink now – 2020. My impression: BEAUTIFUL to DIVINE, 93 pts – recommended for its quality. Tasted in September 2013 at iYellow's Taylor Fladgate Port Party http://grapeselections.com/port-and-werewolves/

Community Reviewer reviewed this wine as follows:

fine balance between the rich, raisiny fruit and the nutty, honeyed finish - a taste to linger over. This rare port is traditionally enjoyed as a dessert wine or at the end of the meal.

Community Reviewer reviewed this wine as follows:

il révcle un équilibre rare avec de riches arômes fruités de raisin et une finale miellée de fruits secs. Un bouquet sur lequel on s’attarde. Ce porto unique est r servir en vin de dessert comme le veut la tradition, ou r boire en fin de repas.
