A medium- to full-bodied Chardonnay with great balance and elegance. Aromas and flavours of green apple and toasty baked bread. Mouth-watering and juicy. Pair with roast turkey.

Chardonnay food pairings: cedar plank salmon, roast chicken with mushroom ragout, pasta with cream sauce.

Reviews and Ratings

The 2012 Sketches Chardonnay is a blend from carefully sourced hand harvested fruit from select vineyards of the Niagara Peninsula. As such, this balanced wine is a wonderful expression of both terroir and vintage as well as a great value! In a Warm growing season like 2012, Chardonnay reached optimal ripeness and exceptional intensity and body. Barrel fermented and aged 12 months in French oak, the Sketches Chardonnay boasts an expressive nose of Red Delicious apple,
Honeydew melon and a hint of white flower. Similar notes replay on the palate, complemented by lively acidity, well-integrated oak spice and a pleasing finish.
