Natalie's Score: 90/100

This rich, robust Niagara red wine was aged for 16 months in French oak, 20% of which was new and imparts a toasty flavour to the ripe black fruit. Lots of complexity and satisfaction in the glass. There's a cult following for the Laundry Cabernet Franc vintage after vintage. The 2012 vintage was a strong one. The grapes are grown on some of the oldest Cabernet Franc vines in Niagara. Pair with a rare steak.

Cabernet Franc food pairings: old cheeses, fried, roasted or barbecued meats, seared pepper steak, roast beef, game meats.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
