Light, soft, fragrant cool-climate Ontario rose that's both refreshing and invigorating. Aromas of delicate field strawberries, no big acidity here. Easy, light sipper. Lovely balance from one of Niagara's best producers. A terrific aperitif in this Niagara rose with small berry notes. Bone-dry and vibrant. A nice tang on the finish. Pair with fresh trout.

Rosé food pairings: grilled salmon steaks, grilled peppers.

Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

The refreshing nose shows strawberries, raspberries, cranberries. The palate shows mainly cranberry and raspberry. Crisp and dry with a cranberry finish. If you're cooking a turkey at Easter, this could be a lovely aperitif.
Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Springtime in Ontario means the Rose wines start to hit LCBO shelves. This is a bone-dry rose with aromas and flavours of strawberry, raspberry, floral and minerality. The acidity is a cleansing medium + with a long crisp finish. Perfect for Easter dinner turkey or ham. Serve chilled.
Tasted: March 2015
A soft, light-bodied Niagara rose made mostly from Cabernet Franc grapes. Pair with cold chicken sandwiches and pate. - Community Wine Reviews
