Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review: A 100% Sauvignon Blanc, made from grapes grown in Chile's Maipo Valley. Grapes here grow in volcanic soil and benefit from the Humboldt Current effect, with cool breezes enhancing the natural fruit character and acidity. Shows fresh, clean aromas of pineapple, white peach, citrus and grassy notes. The crisp palate develops from initial herbal flavours, then blossoms into more tropical fruit flavours on finish. A great wine to pair with shellfish. Tasted Oct. 2018 with the winemaker.

It is medium bodied and crisp on the palate with lemon flavours followed by orchard fruit. Wine-Food Pairing: Fresh Salsa. Cobb Salad. Salty fried seafood or vegetable appetizers. From vineyards located in the Casablanca, Elqui and Leyda valleys - this cool climate Sauvignon Blanc has interesting, intriguing notes of grapefruit, pineapple skins, grassy green mangoes and flinty driven freshness. A bright medium plus splash of acidity and medium minus body with ginger spices carrying into the medium finish. Gregarious and gorgeously green. A suitable pairing with fresh green avocado salad and calamari. 89 points - tasted October 23, 2018
