Reviews and Ratings

Marcia J. Hamm rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

From the Farm Collective Group, this Proprietary Red Blend boasts 66% Zin, 12% Charbono (also known as Bonarda, a grape widely grown in Argentina),10% Petite Sirah, 8% Grenache and 4% Cabernet Sauvignon. All grapes are sourced from vineyards throughout the area, the oldest being established in 1887 (!) and the newest vineyard, established in 1981..a baby at only 35 years old! A cool blend to be sure! Kind of fortuitous that Valentine's Day is coming up, because the dominant smell is...cinnamon hearts! Wow! Super spicy cinnamon, with a basket of field berries, complemented by sweet vanilla cream along with some maple bacon on the palate! An easy quaffing wine to be sure, and not to be taken too seriously!

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
