Reviews and Ratings

Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Alluring fresh, juicy organic red, vegan made wine of from Summerhill Pyramid Winery. Comprised of a blend of (50%) Syrah, (34%) Merlot, (11%) Cabernet Franc and (5%) Cabernet Sauvignon. Showing a bright fresh, inviting bouquet of blackberries, plums, milk chocolate leather and a hint of black olive tree and potting soil. This offers a flurry of flavours just as vibrant as the label, featuring; sour cherries, cranberries, honey berries and a touch of stoney minerals and forest floor funk! Very dry and refreshingly tart - high acidity, medium body, and finish with transient yet lingering velvety tannins. Pair with your favourite vegan meal: grilled tomato veggie burgers with spicy hummus or pork tenderloin with locally farmed herbs. - tasted May 2018
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

The label says to "pair with life" which I love because this wine is vibrant and feels alive! Blended from Syrah, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc, there are aromas of black cherry, plums, rosemary and smoke. Medium bodied, some tart acidity, and some bright fruit flavours on the palate. Slightly smoky on the finish. This wine is organic, byodynamic, and also vegan. Pair with anything from grilled portabella mushrooms, peppery or tomato based sauces or grilled pork for the meat eaters.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
