Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

The winemaker intends for the "Fancy Farm Girl" wines to be fun, accessible and easy to enjoy. This one fits the bill. Flamboyant (all wines in this series have an "F" word in the name) Red is smooth and easy drinking, there are aromas of currants and berries, and a touch of black pepper. Dry, medium bodied with a medium finish. You could drink this on its own, or enjoy with anything on the BBQ, from burger to sausages or grilled veggies.
