Studert Prüm Maximinhof Wehlener Sonnenuhr 2023 Riesling Mosel Prädikatswein is fragrant with white florals, ripe stone fruit, citrus zest, tropical fruit notes and flinty mineral flavours weighty and vibrant with a forever finish on the palate. Drink or hold to 2050. The Studert-Prüm family have been making wines in Wehlen for 12 generations. This elegant and flavoursome Riesling comes from the steep, rocky blue slate of the Wehlener Sonnenuhr Vineyard. Roughly 80% of the vines are planted on original rootstock and fermentation of the wine was with natural yeasts.

Riesling Spätlese food pairings: fig-stuffed grilled pork chops, baked maple-smoked ham, herbed grilled vegetable quiches.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
