Reviews and Ratings

Christian Marcoux rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

The 2016 Merlot, from the Strewn Winery, located in the Niagara wine region, is a must try during your next visit to the Strewn Winery. It offers delicious aromas of fig, red plum, bay leaf, new leather, cream, coffee and cedar. Full-bodied, this succulent wine pleases with polished tannins and gentle acidity. Complex, with a long and savoury finish, the wine will benefit from decanting. Palate: Tart plum, tart blackberry, sage, leather, spice and cedar. Enjoy!
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Smooth and supple. Aromas of black plum, raspberry, leather, spice and a hint of mocha. Full bodied and smooth on the palate. Fruit and berry flavours are ripe and fresh, spicy and slight leather hints along with a touch of oaky vanilla carry though on the finish. Enjoy with grilled pork.
Pam Hatton rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Ruby red with pronounced lush red berry on the nose. Cherry drops, mocha and very nuanced vegetal notes that make it interesting. A little lighter bodied than expected with such a rich nose. Red fruit, mocha and vanilla with ripe tannins on the palate. Juicy medium long finish.
