Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Blended from Cabernet Franc and Merlot. A bit green at first, but opens up with a bit of decanting to show aromas of leather, red currant, violets, and leather. Full bodied on the palate with some young grippy tannins, vibrant bright fruit on the palate, and some leather and spicy hints on the finish. Enjoy with a grilled steak.
Wineboy rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Classic CF nose with pencil shavings and cherry. Yet the structure of CF has been somewhat softened by the Merlot addition. This would make this wine more of a crowd pleaser. Oak emerges late and lingers on and on. Noted vanilla elements from the oak.
Courtney Flood rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

very ripe black cherry, plum, distinct licorice note and a background of vanilla. This wine lingers. Well-made, structured acidity. Good special occasion bottle as a host gift!
