Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Smoky and slightly earthy. Aromas of red currant, cranberry, smoke with some floral and slightly evergreen notes. Full bodied with bright acidity, lots of ripe fruit and berry on the palate, and earthy and spicy notes on the finish. Enjoy with braised beef short ribs.
Lynn van der Linde - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

2015 was a hot growing season for grapes in the Niagara region, and Strewn winery took advantage of this season to bottle their "The Limited" wines. Unfiltered in style, with unadulterated and classic Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon characteristics.
This is one big red! Aromas of dark red berries, leather, smoke, black pepper and eucalyptus carry through to a jammy palate and a spicy finish.
Wonderful with red meat dishes.
Enjoy now or cellar for another few years.
Tasted November 2019.
Simon Chen rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

one of the better Strewn that I like today. Nice structure, grip on the palate. A bit hot and alcohol on the finish. Nice table wine that can pair with charcuterie or grilled meats
Wineboy rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

Ample oak influence on a fully dry wine. Fruit is berry with a herb accent from the Franc. Structure is more CF like while nose is more CS. Drink now.
