The 2012 vintage was a strong one in Niagara and it shows in the flagship white wine blend from Stratus. Full-bodied, rich and layered with aromas of orchard fruit and toasty oak. Pair with roast chicken or turkey.

Reviews and Ratings

Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Award winning winery, Stratus, has produced another fantastic white blend, showcasing Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Riesling from their estate vineyards. Orchard fruit, wildflower honey, baked bread, and nutty notes repeat on the medium-bodied palate. A complex wine that would complement autumn harvest meals, rich German cuisine, or spicy Asian dishes. Lovely wine that would make a great holiday gift. Tasted November 2015. 92 points. Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

A Chardonnay, Sauv Blanc, Semillon blend from Ontario's Stratus Winery, the world's first LEED-certified winery. Fragrant nose with mild gooseberry, white florals & vanilla. The palate gives vanilla fudge, slight lemon, guava and tropical fruit flavours. Medium-bodied with a long fruity finish.

The 2012 vintage of this Niagara white wine is a blend of Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Riesling, but not Viognier grapes by winemaker J-L Groux. Good cellar wine. Pair with chicken in cream sauce. - Community Wine Reviews
