Superb! Strawberry rhubarb aromas with a gorgeous depth and complexity. This wine is a blend of cabernet franc, cabernet sauvignon and syrah. Lovely long finish. What a treat!

Icewine food pairings: strawberry-rhubarb pie and vanilla ice cream.

Reviews and Ratings

Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Icewine is always a treat. Super sweet with strawberry, cherry syrup, alcohol, cake spice. It packs a punch on the palate. i like to pair icewine with opposites. Sweet/salty or sweet/bitter. That being said Stilton cheese or 60%+ dark chocolate. It would be difficult to find dessert equally sweet. But that would be half the fun!
Vintner J-L Groux loves to blend all of the wines he makes, including this dessert wine. Lots of strawberry jam notes here. Try this icewine on top of vanilla ice cream. - Community Wine Reviews
