Reviews and Ratings

Trevor Sabourin - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Lots of sweet red cherry, raspberry jam, red plum, and violet contrast with toasted coconut, vanilla, smoke, leather, and baking spices on the nose. The red fruits come across as fresh and bright, not sweet, on the palate, and manage to balance out the oak influence. Some wet stone minerality comes through as well. Medium body and tannins, with medium high acidity. Quite ripe and appealing overall, though perhaps the oak is a bit too obvious, especially on the nose.
The Pinot Noir grapes for this BC red wine are grown on vines planted in calcium, rocky soils on the bench of the Black Sage region, south of the town of Oliver. Medium-bodied with lots of acidity on the palate. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
