Reviews and Ratings

Van McGowan rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Piano Brut was vinified in Stainless Steel in the Charmat Method. It yields a fragrant and delicate floral bouquet of light peach and nectarine. On the palate you get white peaches and lime. A must have for any special occasion.
Lynn van der Linde - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Aromas of citrus, green apple and freshly baked baguette build to a zippy citrus finish with persistent and delicate fizz. Made from 100% Pinot Blanc old vine grapes - a unique and refreshing sparkling from this single varietal.
Lovely with summer salads or warm goat cheese on toast appetizers.
Tasted Sept 2018.
Melanie Lloyd - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

On the nose, there is warm croissant, apple, and hints of hazelnut. On the palate, it is a fuller bodied Sparkling Wine with fine bubbles, crisp green apple, and lemon flavours, with a slightly bitter almond finish.

Wine-Food Pairing: Fried salty seafood appetizers or salty vegetables fried in tempura.

Tasted September 2018
Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This smells like lemon squeezed over parmesan cheese along with green apples, unripe pear, unripe green papaya, and lots of minerals. 90 Points.
Lori Kilmartin WSET3 - WSET3 Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

100% Pinot Blanc sparkling made in the Charmat Method from the Okanagan Valley. While the nose is subtle the flavours pack some punch. Peach, nectarine, citrus and apple. Crisp and mouth watering. Tasted September 16, 2018
Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Bright, brilliant, balanced. Tasty citrus zest, apple brioche on the palate with a medium finish. Tasted this NV in Sept 2018. 89 points
Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A fun and flinty sparkling from Stoneboat cellars. Non vintaged, made from 100% Pinot Blanc from 30 yr old vines. Green apple, nectarine and fresh green clover. Flavours show flinty citrus and echo green apple elements. Clean and crisp. Pair with light canapes and soft cheeses. 89 points - tasted September 2018
Greg Hughes rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Old-vine Pinot Blanc vines went into this delightful Charmat method wine (Prosecco / Martinotti method)
Ultra bright lemon-yellow. Fresh and clean, it's a delightfully aromatic wine. Peach, meyer lemon, cream, with decently persistent bubbles.
Flavours of lemon jelly, stone fruit, honeysuclle, and ripe apple.
Fun fact; the varietal which used to be refered to in Veneto as Prosecco Lungo is thought to be a mutation or offspring of Pinot Blanc - having no relation to Glera.
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

100% Pinot Blanc done in Charmat method. Aromas of lemon pith, slightly under-ripe peach, and green apple. Nice bubble, with some toasty notes mingled with zesty lemon and apple notes. Enjoy with fried calamari or as an apperitif.
